Why HomeServiceReply exists
Local service businesses lose real money to a phone they cannot always answer. We built the front desk that catches those calls.
The problem
A roofer is up a ladder. A plumber is under a sink. A salon owner is mid-appointment. The phone rings, nobody can pick up, and the caller does the obvious thing: they call the next business on the list. That missed call was a real job, and it is gone in seconds. Most owners never even know it happened.
What we do
HomeServiceReply notices the calls you do not answer and texts the caller back within seconds, in your name. An assistant answers their questions in plain language, offers a real time, and books the job, then hands you a clean lead. You change nothing about how you work; we only step in when you cannot pick up.
Who is behind it
HomeServiceReply is built by Justin Karahan, an independent builder who makes practical software tools. It started from a simple observation: small businesses spend money getting the phone to ring, then lose a chunk of those calls for no reason other than being busy doing the work. The whole product is aimed at closing that gap, cheaply and without adding to anyone's workload.
What we believe
- Speed wins the job. The first business to reply usually gets the customer.
- It should sound human. No clunky bot voice, no obvious scripts.
- No new habits. Keep your number, keep your phone, keep your routine.
- Honest about results. We will not promise numbers we cannot stand behind.
