This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit homeservicereply.com or contact us, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It covers this website. Personal data we process on behalf of our business customers (for example callers' details inside the service) is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis
a. Server and access logs
When you load this site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, and user agent. This is necessary to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
b. Web fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts to display the site. When fonts load, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you prefer not to transmit data to Google, we can self-host the fonts on request, and we recommend doing so before active marketing.
c. Waitlist and contact
If you submit your email to join the early-access list, or contact us, we process the email address and any message you send in order to respond and to keep you informed about the launch. The form is delivered through our form provider. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), or your consent where you opt in (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
d. Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not run analytics. Only strictly necessary technical processing described above takes place. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
3. Who receives your data (processors)
We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:

4. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers above are based in the USA. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is safeguarded by appropriate measures such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the providers' certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. How long we keep it
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and then deleted or anonymised. Waitlist and contact data is kept until you ask us to delete it or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, after which it is deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict processing; data portability; and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. To exercise any right, email contact@homeservicereply.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for your place of residence or, for our location in North Rhine-Westphalia, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).
